A copy of my syllabus is coming home with your student on the first day.  Please sign and return the bottom portion with your student. Please note that I grade using weights and you can check those on the syllabus.  I do NOT grade on a total point system.

Thank you for the privilege of teaching your student this year.  I do believe that math seems difficult to many but I strive to make it an enjoyable experience and to teach students that math is a very important skill to have in real life situations.  And yes, we do use algebra everyday!
